A Message from the CEO

     There is a saying that states, “Helping a person will not necessarily change the world,

but it will change the world for that person.”

The aim of the Wateree Community Action agency is to impart change for one person or family at a time.

Since its formation, Wateree Community Action agency guiding principles has been community action focus as we have partnered with other entities in the community.

As the Chief Executive Director, I share the passion of our Board of Directors, staff and volunteers of Wateree Community Action agency in fulfilling our mission to empower and enable others by meeting them at their point of need.

 This we believe creates the change that will change their lives and eventually change their world. The words of Mollie Marti sum it up this way, “Helping others in need is not only a responsibility of life; it is what gives meaning to life.”
